Klute Family Spring
Meet the Klute family!
What a great family to share a spring shoot with and they had such an inspiring backyard to work in! There was an abundance of beautiful tulips, vegetable and fruit plants and blossoming trees everywhere to remind us of what this time of year has to offer. Their eldest son is on a short visit home from teaching in South Korea and the family pictures were his gift to them to remind them all just how much he loves his family. This was their first family pictures in over 15 years and I feel so honored to have been their photographer. Thank you Ryan and Family for entrusting me to capture a piece of time. ~ Zoom Out
Families to be.....
Meet Mommy Emily, Daddy Brian, big sister to be Avalene and soon to be baby Reed!
Baby Reed is due ANY DAY now...... and this little family is very ready for the little man to join them. We had a great location to shoot, our friend Mina's super cute fenced backyard. Thank you Mina for letting us take over your yard and home for a few hours! I have to share the cutest story that Emily told me that all you mommies will get a laugh out of. So one day about a month ago, Emily was sitting on their couch relaxing while little 2 year old Avalene was laying across her lap. Avalene was feeling a little under the weather and maybe a little more feisty than usual. While they were cuddling.... little unborn Reed was wiggling like crazy in her belly and Avalene sat up and abruptly said "Stop it Reed!" I totally laughed hearing this and thinking poor mommy and daddy the sibling arguing has already started and litttle guy isn't even here yet! Wishing them twice the love always! ~ Zoom out

Backyarding!
Yay for a little peace away from the rain! We finally made it out into that fenced area behind our house, I think they call it the backyard! My daughter was showing her backyard spirit with a pink polka dot and Hello Kitty fashion show! ( I wouldn't let her bring her fancy indoor dresses out quite yet for the season) And no need for a scarecrow in the garden this year...... Our spicy kitten Quessadia, was happy to bird watch in my garden! Oh and this is Ted, my garden gnome! He has taken residence in my backyard for about 5 years now and keeps a pretty low profile. We are definitely getting excited for more blue skies!!!

* Cards for a Local Cause *
Hey everyone!
Yes I'm still alive! I've been laying low with some of my exciting side projects until this Eugene weather starts to pull itself together. The skies have been so unreliable to get much outdoor photography in, but I'm not complaining cause I'm still plenty busy! I started to do some really fun local fund raising and wanted to do a little shout out.
Two of my very good friends Mina & Emily work in the south lane school district. (Below 4j). After hearing them both speak of the tiny little things there schools can't provide for the kids due to cut backs, I wanted to brain storm a way everyone can help. Since I probably can't raise enough to save my good friend from losing her job for the 3d time, I came up with a small plan..... I along with the help of my mom (Sandy) and my friends, Vahana, Mina & Emily we are making fun cards to raise money for their schools art departments. All funds raised will be handed over to the schools manager at the end of the month and go towards any items like construction paper and so forth. Cards are all blank inside and range from $3-$5. Please get in touch with myself or anyone of the ladies I mentioned earlier to check out our growing collection of unique cards! Much Love!

My New Belly Dancing Friends
This was my first ever event photographing experience. With lots of motion. And inside. I normally work outdoors or in a private space with my studio lighting. Quite a different task, a little scary but worth every min of trying something new! Location was inside the fairgrounds and it was a good challenge trying to get a creative picture in okay lighting without a 'bathrooms this way' sign... he he! In the above picture of the three beautiful belly dancers, on the left, is my best friends mom, Donna. Her and I had been talking on and off for the last month or so about me coming and taking some pics for fun of one of their up and coming performances. So last week she gave me a ring about how they were performing at the Asian Celebration this last end. I feel ashamed, but I've lived in Eugene all my life and have never been to it. Wow what a bunch of cool things to buy and look at and very yummy smelling food! We (my mom & I) even managed to buy a few treasured items including my really cool four leaf clover bracelet! These ladies really new what they were doing and looked amazing up there! I had a fun time getting to know them as I experimented with the idea of shooting event performances. I realize shooting in this kind of environment may not be my great love but it was a very positive couple hours. Thank you Donna for inviting me and I am really looking forward to getting some beautiful portraits of all you ladies! ~ Zoom Out

Experiencing Friendship.....
Meet Layne, Anna, Jordan & Briar! It was Laynes 21st Birthday the day I shot these super cute girls pictures. I think they did a great job at being themselves and living in the moment, they weren't the least bit embarrassed with any passers by watching them pose. I really got a lot of knowledge out of working with a group of girls. Since it was my first 'Experiencing Friendship' shoot, I was surprised at how well we all worked together and got some totally original pictures! ~ Zoom Out

Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen ~ Jessica Shafer
Meet Jessica. She is Miss Eugene Pro Rodeo Queen 2011! I'm beyond excited to be working with her and her mare Rulu!! Both of them are such sweethearts and I really enjoyed getting to know them both at our first meeting last week. I'm a total beginner with my knowledge of horses so I'm hoping Jessica will be teaching me all about the rodeo etiquette and how to friend a horse. There will be many more pictures as the days get warmer of this rodeo queen! ~ Zoom Out

Couple Love....
Meet Anthony & Layne! They are sooo cute! I'm sorta bias because it's my cousin and his adorable girlfriend! I've been bugging them for months to shoot their pics and we finally had a chance to meet up in some beautiful Eugene weather. Right now Anthony lives on the Blue Rider Horse Ranch with a lady who trains horses. So naturally we had to take advantage of the quite and private space for some couple love photos! I'm so please with how they came out and can't wait to share the rest with them oh so soon. Much love. ~ Zoom Out

Families to be.....
Meet Erin, Travis & Baby Cash! I'll be honest this was my first maternity shoot and I was a little nervous the morning of. Mostly because these 'very' soon to be parents are so sweet I knew I had to get them some really great pics! They were so chill and Erin is such a cutie. We ended up making, what I call photomagic! Thanks for being such great clients Erin & Travis! Lots of luck to you in your two weeks of waiting and delivery time!!
Wednesday
'Closed Door'
Interested in doing a 'Closed Door Session'?........For the most part I like to keep my clients 'private' shoots, well private. If you would like to view my Closed Door portfolio and hear more about the work that goes into a Closed Door session, email me at kalleealisephotography@comcast.net to set up an apt. It can give you a chance to meet me and see I'm very personable and creative! A Closed Door session right now has a flat fee of $200, that includes up to six outfits so we can have lots of options to play with. I also allow one female friend to accompany you for a 2-3 hour shoot with just me. These sessions are tons of fun and a great 'private way to show your honey you've still got it!
